Who is your style icon?
Jessica Alba – I love her look!

How would you describe your personal style?

I’m loving the classic look right now, so blazers and jeans with nude heels.  I go through phases, I wear a lot of pastel colours so light pinks and mint colours. I wouldn’t say I necessarily follow trends, I just tend to just buy what I like.  However, I was not a big fan of the PVC look which was going around last month… I mean a little is fine but not full PVC outfits!

What are the trends you’re looking forward to this season?

There is two trends I’m really excited about coming in, one is cords, which are going to be big for spring – especially suit blazers and shorts. Also pastel colours, they have been out for a few seasons but they are definitely staying for spring/summer. I am also looking forward to the velvet trend continuing into spring from autumn/winter.

What items are you loving for a daytime look?

I would go with a classic black cami top and ripped jeans. Team them with a white blazer and a silver statement necklace for the perfect day look.

Do you have any best sellers at the moment? It’s hard to tell for the new season already but this Rock and Rags velvet dress has been very popular and so is the Glamorous sequin mini skirt, we have sold hundreds of those!
Do you have a favourite song that’s playing in store right now?

That’s a tough question but probably Avicii – Hey Brother, we are always playing that instore.

And what’s your favourite thing about your job?

Definitely interacting with the customers, it’s quite a social job, which is nice and I love Christmas time in here because it’s so busy.  I also have to say, the staff discount is pretty good too!

Not only are we super jealous of your discount Kim, we also can’t wait to get our hands on a few (maybe all) of these new season pieces. Has your spring mind been inspired? Well look no further, new season has now landed on Mallzee, so there is no excuse not to be ahead of the trends. You know what to do… Shop it now!
