The S/S ’13 collection from Ted Baker is full of bold colours, girly prints and cool, statement accessories. Sweet natured colours are dropped into a look book full of finishing school preppy looks and weightless maxi dresses that graze the floor. Delicate french wallpaper, orchid and summer bloom prints are on trousers, tops and skirts and are sure to inspire. And lets not forget about their accessories – a wide range of bright neon and pastel shades ensure there is something for everyone. Ooze style and prettiness this summer and pick yourself up a Ted Baker statement piece.
We spent a couple of hours ‘oohing’ and aahing’ browsing over their new look book, and through the collection on the website. We’ve pulled our favourites to show you. Got an internship this summer, or a wedding? Or maybe you are graduating? Asking ‘whats the occasion ‘ on their website, Ted Baker’s answer is that they have something to suit everyone for every occasion.
Ted Baker S/S ’13
This dress just makes us think of Blair Waldorf in the season one finale of Gossip Girl? Chuck Bass loved it – so do we!
This dress, with a tan – gorgeous. And a pair of bright heels or chunky wedges – stylish and fun.
Whether you are a pencil skirt lover or hater, I think it is hard to dislike this one. The panel colouring will be flattering on the figure and the colours are perfect for summer. This would work well with a black or white top, something quite subtle that will allow the skirt to be the main focus of your outfit. So summery and pretty.
We are loving the amount of yellow in the collection. It was predicted that it would be a big colour for this season and it sure is. This maxi skirt comes in coral and green too, and is smart/casual enough to be worn at night or during the day. We think the colour, and the pleats would make you feel feminine and stylish as soon as you put it on.
The leather and the colour of this bag is so appealing we just want it the now. A tote is appropriate for work, travelling and casual days out, because they fit a lot in them, but don’t look oversized. If the purse strings can’t quite stretch this far, check out Topshop and Aldo, they always have a great collection of leather bags too.
Check out the rest of their collection on their website, and if you love the look but can’t quite afford this brand, check out Warehouse and Oasis, they are rocking colourful and soft print trends too.
Let us know what you think of the collection by getting in contact on Twitter and Facebook – us shopaholics could talk about clothes all day and we would love to hear what you are loving and hating this season.
