Blogger, barista and baby momma, Emma Bradford of Not Your Average is one busy lady. She joins us to discuss her relationship with dressing and talk us through a selection of her favourite outfits…
“Ever since I could afford to buy the clothes that I wanted, not what my parents wanted, I have always varied whatever it is I wear. From jeans to tracksuit bottoms, you name it- I’ve probably owned it. But from those awful fashion disasters back when I was a teenager I’ve learnt to discover things that work best for my body shape and that suit me.
Bold colours, trainers and knee length dresses tend to be my staple pieces. Anything you can team with boots or trainers has to be my absolute gem! Whether it’s wearing my beloved Air Max with a midi skirt and cami or clashing colours, I like to stand out and show that being a Mum doesn’t stop you from being fashionable.
Take a sneak peak into my wardrobe and check out the kind of things you can expect to see me wearing day to day…
This is one of my favourite buys of this year. I bought it for a holiday but it turns out it’s so versatile it has become a staple piece for me!
I love this simple oversized tee with a bear print paired with a white midi skirt- daring when I have a toddler so it stays hidden for days when I have some alone time!
This is clearly a little more formal but like I said, I love colour so the bag and matching block print dress is perfect to stand out in a crowd!
