LFW A/W 2014: what the LFW bloggers wore

1 Posted by - February 24, 2014 - All, Bloggers, Fashion

If there’s one thing we Brits know, it’s how to pull a smokin’ look together without a designer label filled wardrobe to turn to. Milan may have it’s polish and panache, New York it’s chic sportswear and Paris it’s classic perfection but by jove does London have a sense of adventure when it comes to fashion. In the city where anything goes, expect the coolest looks to combine high street wonders, the odd flashy accessory and more than likely a splash of vintage. Nowhere was such a point more prominent than on the streets this Fashion Week, where our favourite LFW bloggers hit the cobbles to showcase their best outfits. Check out a few of our favourites…

The Glam and Glitter

Fashion’s sweetheart Tamara proved high street can most definitely be a hit in her head to toe Miss Selfridge look. Crisp, clean and cool, we love it- get the leather skirt, slogan top and caged heels here.

What’s in her wardrobe

Showcasing the perfect way to carry checks into the new season, Gemma Talbot teams hers with crisp white and textures of pastel pink. We particularly love the chunky River Island heels and Topshop skirt.

Style Confessional

Well knock us down with a feather, we can’t believe Style Confessional’s Lucia is only 19! With a style eye which belies her tender years she soars straight to the top of our most envied looks list with her Missguided boyfriend jeans and Topshop dolphin shoes.

Her colourful Warehouse parka may be tricky to lay your hands on but mimic Emma’s outfit with her Miss Selfridge dungarees, available now!

Lily Melrose

LOVE THIS. Miss Melrose is gorgeous as ever in a snug ASOS coat and super shaggy River Island bag. Who says layers can’t be lovely?

Lydia Rose

Super cute in a Topshop dress, furry gilet and oversized fedora, Lydia works monochrome styling to perfection.

Arabella

Looking utterly divine in a super-girlie full circle skirt from Coast. The black and gold print is highlighted by Arabella’s accessories, which include a Chanel bag and earrings. Lucky girl.

Thank Fifi

A seasoned LFW blogger, Wendy poses up a storm in Mallzee favourite Jacob Birge; and we think she’s never looked better. It’s just a shame there’s no four-legged friend in attendance…

Forever Yours Betty

Finishing off her bargainous Topshop dress with a sublime faux fur, “Betty” added a welcome splash of colour to proceedings with her trademark flaming locks. That a girl!

At Fashion Forte

Finally, a special mention must go to Rosie Fortescue who taught us all a lesson in ramping up a basic UNIQLO knit to high fashion status. Bravo.
