Bailey’s bright Brits

Call it the Burberry effect, if you will. Primary colours, simple shapes and plenty of clashing. Bailey’s army of bright Brit boys relocated to London for this S/S season, and what a treat the brand’s home city was in for. A modern day dandy was the star of the show, in all his colourful fancy. Shapes were simple, clean; silhouettes were somewhat played with across knitwear and the faithful fallback of the classic anorak, but all in all this collection provided a super-wearable, cheerful approach to new season dressing. As the first rays of sun start to break their way through the Winter gloom, invest in some simple brights to put a spring in your new season step…

When it comes to tapping into the bright anorak element of the look, the high street really have excelled. Topman’s bright red twill jacket comes complete with hood to keep any lingering April showers at bay, whilst Burton’s classic fisherman shape comes in blue, green and yellow. Timeless.
