Well knock us down with a feather, we’ve only gone and made it to the end of our top 50 Fashion Bloggers countdown! This final ten round things off nicely, with a dash of fame, a few under-the-radars and, as always, a hefty dose of fashion panache. Let’s get to it…
Founded in 2006, Liberty London Girl was the Belle du Jour of the fashion scene for three whole years before finally exposing herself in 2010. English style journalist, editor and broadcaster Sasha Wilkins penned the insider tips from her homes in London, New York and LA, where she was perfectly placed to offer up the hottest of lifestyle tips. The diverse range of topics covered includes architecture, food and fashion along with adventures, love and philanthropy- not much left to want for, then! Whatever you’re up to, follow in LLG’s footsteps and you’re assured to be in excellent company.
25 year old Mel lives and works in London, blogging to document her latest loves, favourite looks and inspirations. Posts are very much focussed on her own personal style with mostly OOTD looks and occasional fashion wish lists. Expect a highly wearable vibe with plenty of high street bargains; on-trend outfits are toughened up with ankle boots or hi-tops and perfect accessories.
The place to be for lovers of 90’s grunge, American Apparel and Hipster-itis. 26 year old Charlene is the Visual and Design Creative at online boutique Oh My Love, and perfectly translates her day job into an inspiring, acutely fashion conscious blog. Strutt focusses heavily on her day to day look, with emphasis on floral dresses, round sunglasses, the stompiest of boots and red lipstick with EVERYTHING. Well. That’ll be us sold, then.
21 year old Lydia Rose founded Fashion Influx to cement her style and offer a shot of confidence. The English language graduate now divides her time between interning, working and blogging, where she’s more than making a name for herself. Her look is multi faceted, referencing everything from punk to 90’s grunge to sports luxe. Definitely one to keep tabs on.
Surely one of the hippest chicks on the scene. Blogging since she was 16, 20 year old Kavita has the fashion acumen to pull off pretty much any look with aplomb. Heeled booties or delicate flats, bodycon mini or full flowing maxi dress, grungy or glam; whatever look you favour, rest assured you’ll find some form of fashion inspiration at She Wears Fashion. Savvy stylistas should keep an eye out for “Thrifty Thursday”, a throw back from the early days of the blog when the focus was very much vintage fashions and thrifted finds.
Documenting the close relationship between Hollywood and the fashion industry, reporting on the latest magazine covers and rating the hottest trends, Coco’s Tea Party offers up a daily dose of insider fashion news. The blog was launched in 2006 by London based fashion journalist and stylist Ella Gregory, and has been offering reader’s the hottest insider scoops ever since. Expect a highly editorial layout with a great mix of high street and high end products, fashion news, magazine spreads and events gossip.
22 year old Emma is the go-to for head to toe fashion and beauty advice. Her girly, slightly kitsch boho style is majorly lustworthy whilst her hair and make-up are always pristine. ALWAYS. Expect long, flowing locks teamed with dewy skin and a combination of headbands, cute dresses, shorts and peplum tops. Hit up Milkteef to find out how to look equally as perfect, top to toe. For any Nosy Nigel’s out there, Milkteef is a long standing nickname stemming from her Essex based chum. Says it all 😉
23 year old Carrie offers up some major London focussed inspiration on Wish Wish Wish. From day to day looks to beauty and travel news, the blog provides a veritable what-cool-people-do study. A mild obsession with pretty shoes and clothes with cats on them sits perfectly with Carrie’s 60’s inspired style; readers will find a quirky mix of designer, high street and thrifted finds on Wish Wish Wish.
22 year old Rosie started Rosie Glow last September and decided to dedicate it to fashion and all that goes with it- so expect a fair bit of art, design and photography along the way. Used to develop her own personal style, the blog is filled with many gorgeous Instagram shots and a very refined, bold sense of fashion- think lots of colour, pattern and texture accessorised to perfection.
Goddam- is there ANYONE out there who doesn’t want to Be Frassy?? American Audrey studied English Literature at Durham and began the blog to document her student wardrobe in 2009. Thanks to an innate sense of style, things quickly kicked off- big style. Frassy gained her a spot on the Central Saint Martins Fashion Journalism MA course but a sudden change of heart led to a spontaneous move to Paris; and Audrey has never looked back. Three years and one fashion line later, Audrey has taken the fashion world by storm with her highly desirable look- gorgeous clothes, gorgeous hair, gorgeous girl.
